I'm sure that each of us who have children have numerous reasons why those children are
just plain AWESOME! So today I wanted to share a big chunk of my heart.
I'm cashing in my turn to brag on my kid for a second. THIS BOY,
you guys is an absolute gift. Not only to me but to so many who encounter him. I am so, so
thankful to be raising this boy and to spend my days with him. As you will see in the photos
below our days can't be too typical, and they're not...but that's what blesses my life so much.
Jayden is energetic, genuinely funny, kind, loving, he's a good friend, a great snuggler,
and his heart could not be bigger, more tender or caring.
This kid is crazy awesome! You will see many costumes and personas in these photos.
These photos are not captured during those moments where Jay felt like dressing up.
Jayden was in fact Jack Sparrow and Davey Crocket for a period....like every day!!
It's been the most amazing thing to see one stage after another. To watch his heart transform,
grow and to watch as his adventures, likes and dislikes unfold and change.

is he using a sock for an eye patch on one of the pictures? how funny! he is such a handsome little guy Shannon and such gentle eyes. I see these pictures and wish we lived closer to have a play date with our sons. I bet they would have a blast!

I just love seeing kids with imagination - playing dress ups can be so creative! He's a handsome little man, definitely reason to be proud Mumma :)
Childhood is such a blessed time. Thanks for reminding me of that. I know this sounds weird. But with teaching these days you have so many 'standards' and expectations to meet its wayyyy too easy to remember kids are just sweet creative kids. Seriously, I needed this today.
